#Zoom: 143 commercial undertakings in the furniture sector for sale

  • 3 juillet 2025

In the context of the court-ordered liquidation of the company Casa France, the offices of Asteren, represented by Maître Charles-Axel Chuine, and Maître Alain Souchon are looking for buyers for 143 commercial undertakings in the furniture sector, across France, excluding stocks. The deadline for filing offers has been fixed at 3 p.m. on July 21st 2025.

The Casa group, founded in 1975, is a global actor in the furniture sector, specialising in the retail sale of decorative articles, linens, lights, and indoor and outdoor furniture. The company Casa France is the French operating subsidiary of the Casa group.

Casa France was the subject of receivership proceedings which were subsequently transformed into compulsory liquidation proceedings by the commercial court in Bobigny in a ruling dated 27 juin 2025. The company had been selling furniture products under the brand name Casa.

It is in this context that the joint liquidators are looking for buyers for 143 commercial undertakings situated across France. These undertakings are today involved in the retail sale of home equipment.

The commercial undertakings in question are made up of leases, clientele, and the tangible assets attached to the business of the company Casa France, together with the fixtures and fittings as listed by the judicial auctioneer, excepting assets that are liable to claim, stocks and rolling stock.

It is also specified that, in order to protect their rights in respect of the CGEA Ile de France (AGS), employees are currently being made redundant on economic grounds. The buyer will therefore be responsible for any re-employment priority rights.

The deadline for offers has been fixed at 3 p.m. on 21 juillet 2025, which are to be received by SAS ID FACTO, judicial officers located at 41 avenue Thiers 93340 LE RAINCY

Given the number of undertakings, bid opening hearings will take place over a series of four sessions, the dates and times of which have been fixed as follows:

  • Session 1: Bid opening takes place on Wednesday 23 juillet 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Session 2: Bid opening takes place on Wednesday 23 juillet 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Session 3: Bid opening takes place on Wednesday 23 juillet 2025 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Session 4: Bid opening takes place on Wednesday 23 juillet 2025 from 3 p.m. onwards.

Presentation documents containing the procedure for filing offers are available: here
